As a Coach, I work with all types of professionals from start-ups to entrepreneurs, senior and junior managers and private individuals. I try to make the coaching process challenging, honest and, above all, authentic - so I can be direct, occasionally blunt and wholly unafraid of asking difficult questions!

Kori Burkholder is a Certified Professional Career and Life Coach, artist and facilitator of Self-Discovery Creative workshops. As a Career Transition Coach, she works with mid-career professionals who are no longer connected or inspired by their work and want to discover and transition into a new direction that’s more purposeful and rewarding, even if they don't know what it is! Kori has an extensive background in the creative/marketing/entertainment field and has transitioned careers many times over the last 20 years. Kori believes that work should be fun, fulfilling and rewarding.

Kori's holistic career transition program is designed to help clients go from total confusion about what's next to total clarity with an inspired action plan to get moving towards the direction of their ideal future. Kori trains clients to tap into their own creativity for the answers, to identify and transform parts of themselves that hinder rather than encourage, challenges them to step outside of their comfort zone to break new ground, learn how to create bigger, more powerful visions, beliefs and goals to UPLEVEL their careers and lives.

As a qualified career practitioner with experience in the UK and Dubai, I coach professionals who have reached a natural hiatus in their career, especially women returning to paid employment after a break, expats in transition to new locations, and 'escapees' wanting to explore a second or third more fulfilling career direction. I've developed 3 successful careers over 3 decades and across 2 continents, so I understand change and how to re-design life to match how we evolve over time.

As a career change coach I'm approachable, creative and focused. With a positive and global outlook, I love helping clients ignite their values, recognise their achievements and purpose to re-design the life and work in which they can thrive.

We spend a high proportion of our waking hours at work and I believe that this should be both enjoyable and rewarding. With a focus on excellent performance I work with my clients to identify and apply the best version of themselves, regularly and consistently.

My clients range from graduates looking to be sure of which direction to take, promising talent dissatisfied or frustrated in their current role, returning mothers seeking to build confidence and find work that supports their life as a whole to people who have been in the same employment for over 20 years and are now considering a complete change in direction.

I use the Firework Programme as an opportunity to stop and take stock of who you are, what’s important to you and how you can best reflect this in your work. This may well results in a complete change of direction but it can also lead to simply redesigning a current role – or even looking closely at how you turn up at work and how to get the most from it.

My coaching approach has been described as both supportive and challenging. I have a firm focus on practical application and enjoy exploring the benefits of developing emotional intelligence and taking responsibility for our own outcomes. I am able to draw on a variety of other tools as appropriate, including Neuro Linguistic Programming and Applied-Neuroscience.

Through a series of 1 to 1 sessions and interim support via email and text, I commit to working with my clients to achieve the success, happiness and fulfilment they deserve.

I’m a certified and ICF credentialed coach and offer tailor-made coaching packages to support women with their work-related challenges. My expertise lies in the areas of career transition, work-life balance, challenges within the workplace and life coaching.

I offer an open and authentic approach and am committed to doing my absolute best to support my clients in achieving their goals. I apply positive psychology to every coaching session, utilising my clients' strengths and encouraging a focus on solutions.

I am a passionate professional Career Coach and Consultant with a particular interest in career change coaching. I love coaching people who feel they have reached a cross-roads in their career, or perhaps have experienced redundancy, and are seriously seeking a change of direction, but are unclear as to what that may look like.

I provide access to the structured FireworkTM coaching programme, creating the space to enable the coachee to connect consciously with their authentic self; to encourage them to collate, consider and explore career options available to them; to create a vision or visions, and to set out a plan of action to bring one chosen option, aligned to their authentic self, to life.

My coaching style is warm, encouraging and supportive, yet gently challenges where appropriate in service to the client. I hold only the best intention for every client I work with.

I have a corporate Human Resources and Learning and Development background of over 19 years. I am an International Coach Federation (ICF) Associate Certified Coach (ACC), a Coaches Training Institute (CTI) Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), a FireworkTM Accredited Career Change Coach, and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

I work with a range of people, many of which are from the creative industries given my background. Most importantly I work with people from all ages and backgrounds who want to live their lives to the fullest and are committed to making a change. These include:

I have been described as warm, enlightening, and inspirational, but I'm also prepared to challenge habitual and obstructive behaviour or thought processes. I have the skills to tackle issues in a positive and productive way. And mostly, I have a passionate belief that work should be a fulfilling and enriching part of our lives.

I coach IT staff who venture into management positions, staff working in the financial sector (banks mostly), plus employees considering self-employment. I coach in Dutch (mother tongue), English and French. I love to coach outdoors (running or walking).

I work primarily with clients who are in a career transition. I tackle each stage of the career transition process, from creating professional goals; to working toward a promotion or into a new position; to completing a 180 degree career shift. I am also a mum of twins and work directly with Mums who are struggling with both career transition and embracing their newfound identities.

I take a practical and grounded approach during my coaching sessions and believe that we are ultimately one of our own best resources in deciding our next steps. Through support in identifying our unique values and resources we are able to work through both professional and personal issues, which are often closely linked.

I work predominantly with women who are looking to launch themselves into a new career, often after a period of time at home. I help them define what they want from their work and life going forward and support them in creating detailed plans about how to achieve their objectives. I am passionate about helping believe that it is possible to have a new career at any phase of their life.

I also work with clients in demanding, sometimes new role roles who are seeking success and confidence at work, whilst balancing their life outside work.

I have a warm, supportive and non-judgemental approach. I help clients keep alive what it is that they dream of for themselves and encourage them to 'play big'. Clients say that I am insightful, a good listener, empathetic and encouraging.
