Licensed Firework coaches

Nick Harris

Suffolk

Do you find yourself at a crossroads? Are you still looking to secure that dream job or are you facing important choices about the direction your working life will take? How should you deal with workplace challenges or find the right balance between work and family? How would you feel if you had a more satisfying and rewarding career?

I have coached a variety of individuals in areas like career development, promotion, coping with redundancy, making a career change, managing anxiety or stress and those returning to work after a career break.

Very often I speak to people who are miserable in their job or are unhappy with where they are, but they don’t know what to do, and they don’t see that they have choices. The initial focus for the coaching is therefore often around building confidence in order to create options.

I can then help you to reconnect with your strengths, expertise and capabilities because often people can lose sight of what they’ve achieved in the past when a job has become unsatisfying.

I’ve enabled my clients to be more confident in their approach at work, whether that’s looking for a promotion, finding their next step or having an assertive conversation with their manager. I show them an alternative perspective, challenge their thinking and help them to recognise that they have choices that didn’t seem possible before.

I am a coach supervisor, a member of the International Coaching Federation and accredited at the organisation’s highest level as a Master Certified Coach.

I work with a broad range of clients from CEOs in international companies and charitable organisations as well as people who are starting out in their careers or are returning to work after a career break. This diversity and the unique nature of the work I do is what makes it endlessly interesting for me.

I provide a structure to help you to review your career so as to find direction and clarity around what you really want. I will also help you to develop a definite, practical strategy to make the changes required, whether in the same or an exciting new role.

Areas that we might cover can include:
- discovering new roles and possibilities
- identifying your transferable skills and experience
- re-working your CV to stand out from the crowd
- developing networking skills and partnerships
- creating a definitive career discovery plan
- interview preparation, practice and feedback
- planning an effective job-search strategy
- tailoring your job applications
- guiding you all the way in the recruitment process

Claire Bolsover

Kent, UK

As a career transition & life coach and hypnotherapist I work with individuals who
• feel stuck in their job/career, are no longer finding it fulfilling and don’t know how to change it; or
• are facing the possibility of redundancy or changes at work are meaning that they are moving on but are not sure they want to jump into the same job again; or
• have had their “is this really it” moment realising they don’t want to continue on the same career path for another 20 years but don’t know how to step onto a different path.

This may be about making a total career change or it could be about tweaking what you currently do - where you work, who you work with etc - to make a meaningful change.

Often my clients notice a change in their wellbeing either at home/ work or both and know they want to change something.

In addition to my coaching experience I also bring over 20 years Human Resources experience including recruitment, supporting employees making changes in their careers and managing redundancies so I know the process as well as the impact on the individual involved.

For face to face clients I have the ability to add my hypnotherapy should there be any “stuck” beliefs that need unlocking.

As an entrepreneur and new mum, I specialise in career coaching and personal development for management level (5-15 years work experience) as well as mothers returning to work after maternity break. Most of my clients have a corporate background and are looking for more fulfilment, either through a career change or through a side project in their life.

I am calm, intuitive, challenging and direct. I expect hard work from my clients so they can make the most of our sessions and move forward in their careers.

Jill Walker

I specialise in coaching two groups of people - CEOs, founders and C suite executives who want more meaning or balance in their lives or who want to use their talents in a different way.

I also work with high achieving, hard working women who know they are holding themselves back in some way in their work or their life. I help you bring out the kick ass woman in you and help you achieve what you REALLY want from your "one wild and precious life" (Mary Oliver, poet).

I’m a psychologist, speaker and business woman and I’ve worked as a coach for the past 15 years.

I help people to live the life they REALLY want – professionally & personally.

In 2017 I gave up my leadership development and executive coaching business (which I ran for 16 years working with clients like Google, Dropbox, LinkedIn and Coca Cola) in order to create the space to focus fully on deep, powerful coaching. The kind where lives change.

I help you get crystal clear on what you REALLY want, let go of what's holding you back and take action to create a life that is happy, rewarding and fulfilling for you.

A life in which you thrive. A life true to yourself.

Richard Cook

London, UK

I specialise in coaching individuals around their careers and relationships. I work with individuals looking to make important shifts in their lives - whether in their work life or their personal life - or both! I work with senior leaders to effectively manage priorities and deadlines, achieve optimal work/life balance, communicate and build stronger relationships with bosses, peers and direct reports, level-up their emotional intelligence, strengthen their executive presence, and illuminate "blind spots" in their behaviour affecting their impact and advancement.

I design your coaching with you in a way that addresses your unique strengths, abilities, life experiences, challenges and blind spots so that you can discover and realise what you are longing to make happen in your life. I am known for my emotional honesty with clients and will ask those challenging questions at the heart of the matter - yet do it gently and with respect.

Marie Smith

Dorset, UK

I am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) who is energised by working with clients who are passionate about living their lives ‘on purpose’, aligned with personal values, making a difference in their own lives and also in the lives of  others. Or, if clients are not currently doing this, they wish to, and are intent on changing and moving forwards.

Specialisms Include: Leadership coaching and executive development - transitions and change, personal leadership, personal and team performance, resilience and career development/transitions.

I am a leadership coach and executive development specialist working with senior people, CEO’s and business owners. I typically work with clients who are experiencing (or anticipating) the following situations:

• a crossroads in life, either in their career or private life, or both e.g. feeling jaded with their current role and wanting a new challenge or may have an unexpected opportunity to do something different

• Changes in organisational structures when clients are faced with choices e.g. a number of different jobs on offer /to apply for and not knowing what is the best direction to take next

• Redundancy (voluntary or compulsory) and wishing to clarify and plan what to do next e.g. wanting to make the most of the opportunity that the change presents

• ‘Early’ retirement or ‘normal’ retirement from paid work and deciding what to do next e.g. wishing to utilise skills, abilities and passions in a different context

In all of these situations, experiencing a sense of ‘overwhelm’ with the way ahead, feeing confused or unclear, is a common set of emotions. I support clients with professional coaching to resourcefully deal with these emotions and create a sense of excitement about the possibilities for the future, using tried and tested exercises and a personal coaching structure to support the client. The outcomes from the career coaching sessions include a range of options to move forward with clarity and confidence from their place of ‘stuck-ness’.

What others say about my coaching approach
